New Year's Eve menu (split from LA board)

We had a wonderful New Years.
Nice and relaxing.
Cooked a beautiful dinner with a friend for a group of 15 of his friends.
Here's the Menu for the Evening:

"A New Years Celebration of Great Friends and Great Food"

***Tonights Menu***

New Years Bubbles
Naveran Cava Brut

Cheese Board with Salumi, Country Ham, Cornichons, Anchovies, Mixed Homemade Cadied and Spiced Nuts, Assorted Dried Fuits; Figs and Apricot Poached in Brandy and Lavander Honey.
Cheese: Chevere rolled in Savory Spices; Chevere Rolled in Sweet Treats; Campo Montalban; Cypress Gove Lamb Chopper; Morbier; Petite Munster/Munster Haxaire.

Deconstructed Wonton Soup
Pan Seared Scallop nestled on Shitake mushrooms, asparagus, and wonton noodles woth a teacup of broth.

Butter Poached Australian Lobster Tail Salad
with lamb lettuce tosssed on a creamy tarragon vinaigrette, garnished with a mango, papaya, pomegranate salsa.

Sous-vide Lamb Chop
drizzled with a pomegranate balsamic glaze on a bed of edemame mash, sprinkled with crushed pistchios.

Miso Glazed Black Cod
with a side of fluffy white rice.

La Belle Boire (the black beauty)
Scharffen Berger molten chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream and fresh raspberries.

It was a warm and relaxing evening full of great people and great food!
