Yank Sing - Are Reservations Necessary?

DarkRose | May 6, 2008 03:47 AM

Hi, all. I'm in the final stretch of getting plans set for my and my partner's trip to the city in two weeks. One place we wanted to hit last time around that we missed was Yank Sing. We're both dim sum novices and their selection looks amazing. I know there are better places around the city for dim sum, but the consensus seems to be that for beginners, Yank Sing is the way to go.

My main question is, as the subject says, is it necessary to have a reservation, or is it easy enough to just walk in off the street and be seated? Not sure when we'd go, though I've read enough to avoid the busy Sunday rush. We're looking at the Rincon location.

Thanks!
