Yang Tze River

Alan B | May 30, 2002 07:31 PM

A while back someone whose name as I remember is H Ling posted an item about Yang Tze River in Flushing. I could not find it in SEARCH but I sort of remembered where it was. I went there this past Sunday and I want to thank H Ling for the tip. We had the Three Item Dinner Special.(Clams w/basil ,Sauteed squid w/coriander and Lion's Head) precedeed by a complimentary bowl of Russian Soup. The food was excellent, the place was neat and pleasant and the service was really friendly. We also had an order of Steamed Vegetable Dumplings which are made to order in full view of the patrons in a small glass enclosed cooking area next to the entrance. For Shanghai style food I think this is as good as it gets. Oh, by the way ,the prices are surprisingly inexpensive.Has anyone else tried Yang Tze River?
