Received a tweet that Xi'an Famous Food is looking for a suitable location in the West Village. Also read that with Chinatown Brasserie moving downstairs in to the lounge area, Joe Ng is going to open up RedFarm, an innovative dim sum eatery, on Hudson. He'll supposedly remain head chef at the Brasserie, but being there only part time in reduced quarters I wonder how that will work. Not sure what these West Village locations portend. Will the food be dumbed down or will the quality hold?
