I went and picked some good, organic heavy cream on the way home sunday night so I could make them... didn't have blood oranges at the store (drat!)... so i used meyer lemons from my yard and adjusted the sugar accordingly.
the pots turned out really nice, quite smooth and lemony. although I think I may have over baked them slightly. anyway, I've been meaning to try something like this out for some time, the recipe was also easy to use... and got two thumbs up from my DH, who is a bit of a lemon & custard snob.
