Wretched Tandoori Diner on Howe St in New Haven

It's a real old fashioned diner, and for years I've wanted to stop in and try the northern Indian food there. Finally I did. UGH, inedible.

Problem is I can't remember the name, so I can't warn people away. Again, it's the Indian place on Howe, on a corner, in an actual chrome diner...NOT the other place just up Howe street that also serves Indian (which may or may not be better...can't be worse).

Anyone know the name?

BTW, Pizza House at 89 Howe now serves slices...and they're good (the very opposite of New Haven coal oven pizza, it's Greek pizza, and I appreciate the ability to plunge into the dialectic).
