What is this wrapped eggplant dish?

I was so intrigued by the recent gnocchi thread that I decided to make some for the first time. (They turned out well.) To go with them, I wanted some greens, and some eggplant. I wasn't sure what I was planning when I started, but here is what I ended up with:

A smallish purple American eggplant, roasted at 350 until soft. Four large cloves of garlic, ditto. Chopped the eggplant, mashed the garlic, added smoked paprika butter, wish I'd added salt. Spooned the mixture into two large perfect collard leaves (blanched until flexible, zipped off the thicker part of the rib with a vegetable peeler) and rolled them up like burritos. Kept warm in the oven until the gnocchi was ready, and served with a drizzle of the paprika butter and a sprinkle of pecorino romano.

It was very good, and I wanted to say it was Italian to go with the gnocchi, but my girlfriend insisted that it was either a mutated dolmas or else something from Afghanistan.

Can anybody give me a name for this dish? I don't think it's new, but I don't know where it might come from.
