Was really just hunting for a place to drink my new, favorite concoction – scotch and soda – you have to love a cocktail that can be substituted for wine with food and still taste good watered down – anyway, got the obligatory chairs in the small outside seating area – place was mobbed, folks were eating on the ceiling! Started out with the drinks, and they must of started talking to me because I decided to split some sort of hearty soup with the SO – server was nice enough to split the concoction without even asking, great SF style sourdough with salty butter, yum – ok, I’ll bite – let me see the dinner menu – humm, salmon looks good and what’s this – prime sirloin for $ 16 – hook, line and sinker we ordered the surf and turf combo and ya know, its was not that bad. Actually, after ordering the second round, I thought I would even come back some time. Wine list sucks, limited – Qupe Sarah for $ 32, please. These guys also own Kimo’s a host of other places. If you find yourself stuck in sunday traffic coming back from SB, this is a viable option, imo.
