World Sausage Grill at 14th and Market is doing what a sign says is a "Soft Opening" (no doubt copied from the dot-com "soft launch" of old), which means they're open but there's still some construction/setting up going on. The menu highlights origins of sasusages, such as "North Country Polish" and "Hawaiian Portuguese." I tried the Weisswurst and the Hot Beer. The Weiss could have been grilled a little longer, but was good. The Beer has more spices but less maturity than the Rosamunde version. Still, I'm somehow rooting for these guys to succeed.
