Is almond wood good for flavor in grilling? I've heard of many woods and chips (Mesquite, hickory, applewood, cherry wood, etc.), but don't recall hearing much about almond.
A friend cut down a bunch of his almond trees and I was wondering if they would make a good flavor for grilling chicken, maybe add a little rosemary to infuse in the smoke flavor.
Anyone done this? Or does it sound like a possibility of good flavor?
