Won Ton Soup at Shanghai in Oakland

Thanks for the advice about Shanghai (Cafe?) on Webster in Oakland - what to get for an on-the-way-to-class take out meal.

We ordered Dan Dan Noodles and they were quite spicy and good. I was looking for something else. The cold table at the back looked pretty sad (after lunch, before dinner). I thought I'd try some soup. The waitress said "Won ton?"

I said "Nah" and looked through the menu. Couldn't decide and then noticed they were making the won ton on a back table. So I ordered it and MAN am I glad I did. She scooped up a handful of wontons from the table and went into the kitchen with them.

The soup was wonderful. Won tons had lots of greens in them, and a hint of what seemed to be cilantro. The whole thing was fresh and delicious and even stood up to the powerful and spicy noodles.
