Restaurants & Bars 12

Being from the Philadelphia area, I am always very very skeptical of anyone in NYC advertising philly cheese steaks because they invariably get them wrong..."authentic" philly cheesesteaks do not come with american or provolone cheese....although some do order that....a real cheesesteak is made with cheese whiz....also, the bread is never need a real hoagie roll

So, I must say that Wogies, which just opened on Greenwich Ave and Charles street was a really pleasant surprise. Its the closest I've ever had outside the philly area to a real philly cheesesteak. They were greasy and delicious with just the right amount of cheese whiz..the bread was great and the waffle fries were great too. Plus the prices are great....

I'll definitely be going back!
