really wired food, would you try it?

I've always thought of myself as an adventurous eater. I'm Chinese and am used to things with heads, tails and everything in between. But when I saw a show on the Foodnet work on ancient Aztec food (or is it Mayan?) prepared with larva and various insects, I find myself shuddering. I scoff at others who won't open their minds to raw fish or innards or even tofu, yet I doubt myself now?
Anybody else have an opinion on tasting the insect world? Is that a chowhound requirement? Would you try it?
