Thanks to curiousbaker for the grenadine recipe. I found some deliciously ripe fruits this weekend and made a quart of syrup for under $3. It's resting now, and I can't wait to try it.
What other simple fruit syrups do people make in the winter? I'm thinking this would be a fun present to bottle for my co-workers. Some 375mL bottles with nice ribbons to offset the gorgeous bold colors.
I thought about infused vodka, but it takes longer, costs more, isn't as colorful, and requires me to figure out who does and doesn't drink. Fruit is for everyone!
