Help with wine pairing

We are making a fresh pasta with sweet italian sausage, sundried tomatoes, basil and white wine as the main ingredients. I was thinking of pairing it with a brunello or super tuscan which always seem like a good bet with tomato based dishes. I'm open to other ideas though. Would other wines go with this dish I described? Thanks in advance.
