wine and food outing?

LeeK | Nov 21, 200211:28 AM     2

Hi,

in the spirit of both the holidays and VI's quest to understand "Why Wine?" (see link below to discussion on General Board and do any debating THERE) I'd like to propose a Saturday or Sunday afternoon/evening gathering to have wine and food together.

My thoughts on dates are one of the following: Dec 21/22 or 28/29 or Jan 3/4 or 11/12 and I was thinking of us going to Webster's or Bin 36 (Bin 36 has better food, Webster's better prices) and hanging out sharing food and wine - or, depending on numbers and interest we could do a whole wine dinner somewhere.

Please e-mail me at the address above (let's not do on-board discussion, since this is not the major purpose of this board) and I'll post again if there's a consensus and interest. Let me know if these dates are too close to the holidays, and if we should go later into January or what. EVERYONE and ANYONE who sees this note is invited!

If you'd be interested in an ongoing, regular wine tasting thing - whether at someone's house or at a BYO restaurant or whatever, note that too.
