Just came back from a weekend in NE PA. Wanted to try Tony's in Kingston for breakfast after reading so much about it here, but he was closed for vacation. Armed with our recommendations, we ventured over to Dukey's Cafe in WB, where we surprised ourselves with silver dollar pancakes and the Buttermilk 5. Very fluffy and tasty. The omelet (sausage and cheese) was decent and overall give it a thumbs up.
Didn't try the Ranch Wagon in Dallas as we usually do for their great long dogs with everything (good atmosphere - you sit in the car and one of the teenage boys brings the food to you).
Also didn't go to Victory Pig for the "fried bottom" variety of local pizza, but got a similar kind of thing at Pizza Perfect in Trucksville. Not bad, but white pizza at Sabatini's or Arcaro & Genell's is really choice.
Tried a cake at Boulevard Bakery in WB: outstanding! Very moist and perfect icing. Atmosphere is nil but a great selection of goods, including some kind of pizza they make on Fridays that was described as having a Pierogi filling on top of the dough. I forget what it's called.
