Isnt wild salmon in season for only a few months of the year in summer as the salmon swim downstream from alaska? I have seen it on a few menus this time of year, so I ordered it last night - the king variety (in NYC) after asking the waiter if it was real wild salmon. He swore that it was, but it didnt taste much like wild salmon. Does anyone know what the story is with wild salmon? If its on the menu during the winter, is it "real" wild salmon?
