thank you for recommending what turned out to be pretty good chicago street food. however, i did have several things i'd like to share.
1. i still can't get over how this place, along with others i tried, all keep their dogs 1/2 cooked, lying besides the grill before customers order. not eaxctly fresh, and the tase shows it,somewhat.(poteillos in river north actually cooked me a char dog to order-it was okay)
2.the cleanliness,or lack thereof. hard to enjoy the taste of one's food when there are loads of flying insects to share that food with you.
3.maybe i don't get the repartee, but last nite, around 1130pm, there was a series of overly obnoxious, loud and foul mouthed (young) people, cutting in line and verbally abusing the help-yes the help was into it-but not exactly a pleasant atmosphere-i mean this place is a dump physically, and i am no prude, but are overt sexual overtures with crass and crude language really THAT cool? i think not-and now know when to avoid this place.
it's not like it's the only decent dog place in town.
