White Wine in the Fridge

Jupiter | Jan 4, 2002 10:37 AM

Good Morning all,
I have a question regarding white wine, how long does it keep vacu-sealed in the refrigerator? I frequently buy bottles of chardonnay and drink half of them and then use my little vacusealer doo hickey thingie and throw them in the fridge and then unfortunately forget about them for anywhere from 2 days to 2 months! so sad.... usually i sniff them but sometimes, those suckers just don't seem to turn! anyway, i end up using them for cooking wine most of the time, since i don't know what the legal time limit is in the world of the onophiles...
Any one have any standard rules of thumb for white wine preservation?

Thanks and have a great day.
