I'm wanting to get back into making biscuits and gravy. They won't be as good as when I lived in NC since I can't get Neese's sausage, but they REALLY won't be as good if I can't get any White Lily (or Martha White in a pinch) flour. I don't need the self-rising, just the plain all-purpose White Lily. I know it's a long shot, but has anyone spotted this anywhere in the Boston area?
If not, it may be time for a road trip . . .
(BTW,the biscuits I'm making are the Touch of Grace biscuits in Rose Beranbaum's Bread Bible. I make them with buttermilk and they are truly lovely.)
