White "bloom" on black mission figs

jeff747 | Nov 10, 201708:48 PM

There was a discussion thread 7-10 years ago, about a white substance on dried figs. I purchased fresh black mission figs, which also developed a white substance on several figs while in the fridge.
I'm hoping the same result applies as the conclusion in the previous thread: that it's not mold, and is harmless. Anyone know?
