West Loop Business Dinner

Ron_L | Nov 19, 2003 02:47 PM

I'm going to be hosting a group of 8 or 9 for a business dinner on Monday night. I'd like to find someplace nice but not too expensive (around $30 per person) within a five minute walk of our office. Our office is on Washington just east of the expressway. I know that there is a bunch of restaurants on Randolph just west of the Kennedy but so far the only ones I've tried are Bluepoint (for lunch) and Sushi Wabi (also for lunch). Bluepoint was fine, and at lunch it was quiet enough to hold a conversation, but I'm not sure how noisy it will be at dinner. Sushi Wabi was very loud (not too mention quite expensive for just average sushi), so I'm ruling that out.

What do you folks recommend in that area where we can have a nice dinner, but still be able to talk without having to shout? At this point, cuisine isn't a factor. Once I have a better idea of the people involved and the recommendations, I can narrow it down more.
