Weekly Menu Plans - January 2018

MidwesternerTT | Dec 29, 201706:46 AM

Let’s use this thread to share concise weekly dinner menus for each week in January. What’s planned from the COTM (Cookbook of the Month: All Under Heaven by Carolyn Phillips ), or DOTM (Dish of the Month) Lasagna or Biryani? Will you bake from the Winter 2017-2018 BCOTM baking book CLASSIC GERMAN BAKING by Luisa Weiss?

Are you making hearty winter roasts and stews? Or perhaps focused on low-carb meals of salads and proteins this month? Does walking about indoors or bending to reach pans at the back of the cabinets while cooking get counted as your exercise?

We all know plans can change, so it’s fine if something you posted about drops off your list or an inspired improvisation gets added. You may choose to report actuals for the prior week to share ideas with others and as your own reality-check for next week’s plans. It's helpful if you can include your location and how many people you are feeding. Links to recipes are always appreciated, and sources help.

The December discussion is still available for reporting the last week and follow-ups.
