Weekend Visit - Perplexed by the Options

Kristina | Jul 31, 200402:20 PM     7

Hi, I'm coming into town on a Thursday afternoon and spending 2 nights. I already have reservations (both kinds) @ Zuni for Thursday night. Friday night I am going to see the Cubs play SF--but would like suggestions for lunch. Location or food type doesn't matter--probably a little more casual. Our thoughts so far have been dim sum...but this is just a thought. The criteria would be if you were to go on vacation--where would your first meal out be upon return to San Francisco?

Also, any suggestions on a good place to go for martini's, old school style? A classic bar with professional bartenders--a bonus for anyplace that still might allow cigar smoking. (I know, probably a "pipe dream," but...)

Lastly, for after the game...a late-night cheap eat?

I'll continue to comb the threads for idea's, but thanks in advance!
