In an earlier thread Steve mentioned an article by Michael Klein in Inquirer which lists all weekday prix-fixe deals in good restaurants. I can't find the article online nor can I find a comprehensive list on this board. Frankly I find this reprehensible! (I like -hensive/-hensible words). I am not necessarily looking for a deal but traditionally it's expected that prix-fixe will cost a little or a lot less than the sum of its parts and I'd like to keep the cost around 40.
Having said that I've only been to one good prix-fixe place: Le Mas Perrier. Tue-Thu $35 (or 37), 4 choices in appetizer/entree/dessert category and I have yet to be disappointed. The liver with beets is a masterpiece but I am partial to both ingredients. I am also going to give Overtures a try this week.
Unconfirmed: Novelty ($25 Mon-Thu), Bleu, Opus 251.
Confirmed: Bistro St Tropez ($20.02 Wed-Thu, Until 6:30 on Fri/Sat), Overtures ($20.02 details?).
Please add to this list!
