Wedding cake bakers in OC / LA

A friend is getting married at the end of April and needs a wedding cake. Lots of bakers can make a good-looking cake, but they don't taste especially great. Who makes a good tasting, pretty cake?

She lives in Norco, but drives all over OC and LA counties for work, so a tasting visit might be acceptable to her.

1) To feed 40 people, probably a two tiered cake.
2) Can be plain looking (to keep down costs) but must be delicious.
3) Less than $200.
3) The groom requests one tier be cheesecake, the other can be regular cake. So that opens another question, of who makes a great cheesecake, and can they do wedding cakes?

We visited Let Them Eat Cake today (in Costa Mesa). Delicious, visually stunning work. But spendy, at $6.50 a slice. I know of a couple bakeries in Westminster that do ok work, but nothing mind blowing. Can you help?
