Watsonville 150th Birthday Celebration - March 30

Melanie Wong | Mar 28, 201801:18 PM     3

From the Santa Cruz Sentinel:
"WATSONVILLE >> Friday, March 30, is the sesquicentennial anniversary of Watsonville’s incorporation, which was March 30, 1868. The city is holding many upcoming events — including a wine, beer and art walk (details will be announced in the future). The first event is a birthday party at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the City Plaza. The community is invited to the party, which includes cupcakes and Martinelli’s apple cider for everyone plus live music from Mariachis and others. The local farmers market takes place concurrently, so people are welcome to purchase food for dinner from market vendors. There are also various local restaurants around the plaza.
