My guest and I had dinner at Water Grill last night before heading over to the hear Clinton speak at LAMC. We started with a shellfish platter (Mussels, Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, Oyster) that was excellent. The new chef, from Charlie Trotters - Chicago, is starting to introduce his food to the menu. I had his halibut with coriander and fennel spiced artichoke with olive, my guest tried his stripped bass with lemon scented potato and garlic. Both were excellent, so excellent we had a hard time thinking where we've experience food better then this anywhere in LA in a long time. Service was excellent and unobtrusive.
