A warning: boycott China Fun

At least the one around 53rd and B'way (a few blocks past David Letterman). I was just there for lunch and am never going there again. It's not that the food was so bad, but the service was atrocious. It's a big place and there were only a few other patrons. I expected someone to take my order right away -- haha. After waiting a few minutes, i asked someone if i could do so. I expected to be given the usual Chinese restaurant pot of tea -- yeah, right. I had to ask not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR TIMES before i was finally given a mug of tea. (You know how expensive tea is. Wouldn't want them to lose two cents). The curried chicken was ordinary and not even "hot and spicy" as it was described in the menu. But the wonton soup (with two whole wontons!) just about sucked -- not much better than hot water that had nodded in the direction of a bouillon cube (although the flecks of scallion were nice). I was tempted to give it back, but fixed it up with soy and duck sauces and a little rice and chicken (which made me realize i was a better cook than the CF guy, so why was i eating there?). And i didn't like my fortune, either. Cereal Diners recommendation: Avoid this place like the plague. McDonald's would've been a four-star dining experience by comparison.
