Almost 30 years ago, my parents visited Paris, where they had the most delicious dessert of their lives- souffle glace. It was not (as I have searched on the web) parfait, or mousse. Rather, it was REAL icecream, that was warmed and puffed up. (My mom confirmed that this is how it's made with a french restaurant in NY, but alas, they said they can't make it). If you know of anyplace in NYC or LI that can make it, please let me know! Thank you!
