A lot the apples I buy at the various grocery stores look really good but don't necessarily have a great deal of flavor when you actually attempt to make them the centerpiece of a dessert. They taste kind of bland like something that wasn't quite ripened on the tree.
That being said, assuming you didn't live close to an actual apple orchard... Any recommendation on where I can get a better-tasting Granny Smith/Golden Delicious apple?
Crazy as it sounds... I'd actually consider ordering them if I had too.
