Ugh. For years now, I've tried to avoid Waldbaums for anything but boxed/canned goods. A snow day was coming earlier this week, so my wife stopped at a Waldbaums on the way home from work to pick up a special treat of muffins for the kids' snow day breakfast.
They're kids, so they didn't care, but really, Waldbaums calling those "blueberry" muffins is a fraud on the consumer. Each relatively large muffins had 3 to 4 tiny blueberries in it. Picture 3 pea-sized blue chips (I don't know if they were real or not; they certainly couldn't have been fresh berries) in a large sea of yellow cake. You could eat 3/4 of the muffin without hitting a blueberry.
I can't wait for the day this travesty closes its doors. They aren't even trying.
