wagamama is a quick service, soup and noodles japanese chain.

wagamama exploits a nice niche: the fast service means that its popular with office workers for lunch, and its kid friendly, so families dig it. i've been several times to the locations in kensington high street and the city and they're almost always reasonably full at lunch. after all, soup and noodles in this usually cool, rainy climate should be an easy sell.

the food itself is mysteriously bland. nothings happening. it LOOKS good, but its boring. unlike other chains, it isn't immediately nasty and you dont feel like a complete schmuck for having eaten there.
