Waffles: Home Cooking Dish of the Month March 2019

L.Nightshade | Mar 1, 201910:04 AM     194

Welcome to the Home Cooking DOTM reporting thread for March 2019. This month we’ll be making WAFFLES!

To see how we got here, you can take a peek at the nomination thread: https://www.chowhound.com/post/home-c...

And the voting thread:

I’m excited to see all kinds of waffles this month. On a personal note, I’ve never made a waffle in my life, so even the most basic waffle is going to be an adventure for me. But I expect we’ll see a lot of variations, deviations, and experimentations on the basic waffle. Breakfast waffles? Dessert waffles? Savory dinner waffles? I hope we see all of those and more!

When you post about your waffles, please share your ingredients, your technique, and your outcome. Photos are always appreciated.

Per Chowhound rules, please do not quote an author’s recipe verbatim, but you may paraphrase it or include a link. If your recipe is original, you are welcome to include it in its entirety if you like.

Ready, set, heat up those waffle irons!
