I hadn't used a WI for some years - got one for a grandson now who likes waffles (and mostly the gunk you put on top :-) ).
Anyhow - I got the idea to try it for 'waffle bread'
Just used some whole wheat flour, baking powder, an egg, some oil, salt.
Turned out to be absolutely nothing special - but edible and OK in the general way of things.
Anyhow I thought I'd throw out the question for things that people have used WIs for other than the standard waffle.
(I'm assuming the 'waffle' mold is pretty necessary to get the quick and even cooking necessary).
