Please advise.

The one and only time I have been in Von's was 20+ years ago, went with a high school friend who was going down there to pick up sailors. I'm sure it has changed since then. (??)

Now I'm looking for a place along Pine or a few blocks to the south where a friend and I can do breakfast after going to the gym (main library area).
Make that CHEAP breakfast.

I hear that Von's serves breakfast.

Any comments on whether it is ok or hurl-worthy, and also, do they now have decent food in general?

Or, any suggestion of somewhere else? Cheap means, oh I don't know, $8 or less for french toast and sausage, I guess.

thanks much.
