A couple weeks back we had a couple of great experiences at Vivo.
We were the only people in the restraunt at 6:00pm on Good Friday. Service was excellent. We had an antipasto "crudete" ($12) platter for two. It contained a generous portion of of olives, cheeses, marinated tomatoes, soppressata, and prociutto. Absolutely delicous with a couple of glasses of wine. They brought a nice selction of breads and three spreads to have with the crudete.
I had the pistacio crusted salmon ($26) for dinner. Nice big piece of perfectly cooked salmon (I am a picky salmon eater), with roasted beets and some greens. I also had the sweet potato gratin ($7). My wife had the pan Seared sea scallops with buternut squash ravioli ($22). Abosultely delicious scallops and sauce, although the ravioli might have been a tad undercooked for my taste.
We liked the food so much that we made reservations for easter brunch. Easter brunch ($39) was outstanding. We had ommlettes, waffles, fresh carved sirloin, made to order pasta, etc... We may have overpaid according to reactions from most I have told the price, but we thought the food and service were excellent.
