Visiting Burbank/NOHO area

I'll be visiting for a week this summer and looking for some good cheap places to eat which are family friendly. I'll be staying near the Bob Hope airport, and can travel a little ways if needed (by bus or taxi). The NOHO arts district looks about right.

I personally like cafe's and deli's. My daughter is vegetarian, and does eat dairy. I am not a vegetarian, and I have a three year old.

Both my kids are well behaved and respectful, so they are not the kind of snotty brats who make certain restaurants not allow children. I'm also the kind of parent who would know better than to bring a child to certain restaurants, as I cannot expect my three year old to turn into an adult for an hour or two. With that said I a place my children would be welcome is a plus.

Any recommendations for good food where a "diverse" family can eat? Our favorites are Italian, Chinese, Mexican, and American, but I'm willing to explore outside our comfort zone. A good coffee shop near the airport would be a plus too.

I also would love any tidbits about the art district as far as a must see or do after we catch a bite to eat at suggested restaurant.
