Virgil's review

I attempted to go to Daisy Mae's for some pulled pork last night, but when I got there, I was shocked to learn that they close at 8:00pm on a FRIDAY night!!
Coupled with the fact that they are closed weekends...well, I ask you, how DOES this restaurant stay in business?

Anyway, I went to Virgil's today for the pulled pork
I've been craving, and I found it to be ok...nothing special. It was rather mushy in texture, but the sauce was pretty good. The side of potato salad was
tiny...about two tablespoons worth, at most.
The Peanut Butter pie, however, was fantastic.

In truth, the pulled pork I had last week at a street fair was MUCH better, for $3.

My search for good pulled pork might just take me (and my car) to Norht Carolina. :-)
