We went to Violet this evening and had a great meal. From the appetizers to the desserts, including the reasonable priced wine, everything was great. We started with olives, mac n' cheese, and mushroom ravoli. For "main courses", we had the NY Strip and halibut. For dessert we had the lemon tart and flourless chocolate cake with vanilla gelato. We had a bottle of the wynns coonawarra estate shiraz. Everything was tasty and good. Also, they serve LaBrea bakery bread. Yum!
