Had dinner there w/friends last night. WONDERFUL. Just opened Monday. The interior is nothing short of gorgeous, a bit "mod", shades of blues & greens w/dark wood accents and some brick. Two stories, a bar on each, and half of the upstairs is a very nice lounge w/a mix of chairs, sofa and tables. A gas fireplace, and an outdoor deck (not yet open). Really nice martini/cocktail menu - I had a delicious ginger margarita on the rocks. Decent wine list, about 6-7 each red and white by the glass, btw $6.50-$14. Service was excellent, nice touches like the hostess saying to leave our drinks in the lounge when we were brought to our table for our server to bring them over. Fresh flatware after the bread. Doggie bag packed up and kept at the waitress station and handed to me on the way out the door.

Herb & Red Wine Braised Lamb Shank Risotto
French Feta, Artichokes & Black Olive Sauce
This last one is what I got - it was exceptional and I'm so excited to know my leftovers are in the office fridge ready for my lunch! The black olive "sauce" was more of a tapanade, blobbed around the edge of the dish. The lamb was falling apart tender (not whole shanks, chunks mixed into the dish, very easy to eat). Between the feta, the olive sauce and everything else, it was just FULL of flavor.
I can't recall the last time I enjoyed a meal so much. I was scanning the lounge and trying to think of a single place in Providence as pretty or as hip as this (I'm still thinking). All this, and a parking lot.
