Vintage Nordic Ware Bundt Pan Numbers

applescruff | Jan 2, 202210:20 AM     6

I've been on the hunt for a vintage twelve cup Nordic Ware—known as Northland Aluminum Products, Inc. at the time—bundt pan to add to my bakeware collection and while there are no shortage of pans to choose from, I find myself hesitant to purchase one because of a single number on the pan.

On the bottom of these older pans there is usually a number directly underneath the name of the company that ranges from 1 to 12 (as far as I have seen). At first I thought it might indicate how many cups the pan can hold, but the pans are generally the same size no matter what the number is. It's possible that it's some kind of production number, but my internet searches have failed to provide a definitive answer.

Does anyone know the significance of those numbers?
