Had dinner there a few days ago, and it was just a restaurant. We have driven by and heard of the place for years, and the wife an i decided to give it a try. The roasted chicken would have been much better had the harsh garlic been left off. (for reference we eat more than a few pounds of garlic a year) It was simply undercooked.
The shrimp and the pasta were cookd perfectly, but mostly devoid of flavor. The bread was fine, but not what one comes to expect in New Orleans. Nothing there with the salad.
For someone who is curious, or has a lot of meals in NO to kill, it is worth a try. Maybe we had a bad nite, but I would not waste a meal there again.
