Does anyone know an old, vaguely mafia-ish place called Villa Vivolo out in Bensonhurst? I have a very fond memory of one dinner out there, but that was long before my palate became as *fantastically* refined as it is now. (that should be read as sarcasm, not snobbery. thanks.)
Anyway, I'm just wondering if it is in fact as good as I remember. I have a bit of a hankering for an outrageously good, authentic italian dinner that will be a bit of an adventure for a park slope chick to get to-- so even if you just have a recommendation for another great out of the way place, I'd love to hear it. Especially if it's not too expensive.
