Villa Frascati (WoodlandHills) does bait and switch

rmc | Nov 13, 2003 12:24 PM

Two friends went there (the former Taste of Sweden location) for dinner last evening and saw the menu, and no entree item stood out, yet most all were in the range of $14-$18. The specials were recited and a sea bass item appealed to one and it was ordered. Price was not asked - big mistake! It was ordered, enjoyed enough, yet when the bill came, the entree was $32!!! The other ordered swordfish which was way too salty. Two glasses of house Pinot Grigio were also ordered. Would you believe $10 each!!!
This is just a plain storefront in the middle of no-man's land in Woodland Bills, not Posto or Amalfi in this morning's LATimes. Talk about a rip-off!!!
Let the consumer beware!
