I've stopped in to this place several times after moving around the corner and reading briefly about it on this site. I wanted to give it a bigger mention since I found out today that they make their own fresh mozzerella. I bought a 6 oz. ball of mozzerella made only two hours beforehand for under $3, and they'll do bocconcini if you call a day ahead.
They also sell salted anchovies by the pound so you can buy just a little at a time, and have fresh pastas and a variety of fresh and cured sausages that I have yet to explore fully, along with the typical Italian cold cuts, cheeses and olives.
This is truly a small, family-run restaurant and deli which deserves a visit. It appears to be a lunch favorite, and has specials at night and on the weekend to try and boost their overall business in this mostly-business part of the Rockville "town center."
