I didn't get there three weeks ago like I thought I would, but I finally got there. It was pretty crowded for the Friday after Thanksgiving but we did not have a problem getting a table and were seated immediately (we got there at 6:30)
I feel like I need to go there many more times to try everything I wanted to. There were five of us and we managed to order way too much food.
We started with the Barbecue platter which included spring rolls, but since the menu says this platter is an appetizer for only two people, we ordered another order of spring rolls. (We were almost tempted to get two BBQ platters but thankfully we didn't). As an appetizer it was quite sufficient for the five of us. This also came with chicken, noodles and grape leaves (which we all liked better than the similar Greek ones).
We also got the sauteed squid appetizer which was very good. One of us ordered the soup appetizer and that too was HUGE... too huge to have that and finish dinner too.
I got the house special broken rice and two others got the "salt and pepper chicken" and the "salt and pepper seafood". I tried a scallop from the latter dish and it was the best scallop I have ever eaten.
Yet another diner ordered Chow Fun which looked really good although I did not try it.
Anyway, we ALL needed doggy bags. I think if I go back again, I will order that BBQ platter (as long as I am with four or more people) plus a wider assortment of appetizers so I can try more things. The prices certainly could not be beat.
And the upstairs lounge was very groovy.
