Vien Hong Noodle in Richmond @ Pacific Eastmall- more items tried

Han Lukito | Sep 4, 200408:51 AM

I did not get much response from other folks when I asked if anyone tried anything else worthy at the famous Vien Hong Noodle house beyond the usual noodle soup, chow fun and fish cake. Here are my findings:

-House Special omelette is excellent. The rice is probably fried rice but cooked very tastily. The omelette has tiny slivers of what looked like char siu bbq pork and also minced pork. A tasty thick sauce is poured on top of the omelette. This is very good IMO.

-Cha Jiew style fried rice turned out to be fried rice with tiny cubes of char siu, lap chong/chinese sausage, peas and carrots. Not that great compared to the outstanding this above. Will no reorder

Other things that looked interesting:
-Liver here looked great and sold as a side dish in soup or sauteed with ginger, onion and veggies.
