Although I know that streetcorner tamal vendors are the best, I have always been curious about this little shop at Archer and Ashland. Has anybody out there checked it out? (I would wager that ReneG has). Also, the Red Table on Pershing (near Halsted) intrigues me. Any reports? And finally, Pizza Italia (or words to that effect) near 24th and Western in Vito Marzullo's old satrapy (as was so eloquently referred to in post about Bruna's - however that implies Vito to have been a "minor despot" when he was probably the best thing for that neighborhood)--is it any good? I recently relocated to the McKinnley Park neighborhood and can't find any decent pizza anywhere. Nobody seems to know how to make a good sauce. Any suggestions?
